Give the drive your full attention with hands-free phone calls through the integrated speaker and microphone. Packed with a million of points of interest (POIs) and regional maps, the 215T is compact, versatile and easy to use.

Make hands-free phone calls
Keep your eyes on the road and both hands on the wheel with nüvi 215T’s integrated Bluetooth® wireless technology, microphone and speaker. Just pair with your compatible mobile phone and talk hands-free through the nüvi 215T. Simply dial numbers using nüvi’s touchscreen keypad and answer calls in a tap of the screen. Enjoy convenient one-touch dialling for contacts and points of interest and drive safely and legally.

Simplicity and safety
nüvi 215T comes preloaded with regional mapping. Simply touch the colour screen, key in your destination and nüvi takes you there with turn-by-turn spoken directions and smooth moving maps. Digital elevation detail shows shaded contours for a better understanding of your surrounding terrain. In addition, nüvi 215T accepts custom points of interest such as named businesses and traffic blackspots, with proximity alerts to warn you of upcoming POIs as you approach. With HotFix™ satellite prediction technology, Garmin calculates your position faster to get you there quicker.

’Where Am I?’ gives you details about your position on demand. Simply tap the car icon for your exact latitude and longitude coordinates, nearest address, contact details for your appropriate vehicle recovery service and directions to nearby hospitals, police and petrol stations.

nüvi 215T contains Garmin’s unique, advanced driver safety system with daily updates. Travel with the confidence you are driving safely, responsibly and legally and don’t be fooled by false alerts. The system uses a patented ‘corridor’ technique of camera validation so you only get alerts relevant to cameras on your route. nüvi also displays speed limits for greater awareness.
nüvi 215T also comes with Garmin Lock™, our inventive anti-theft protection system that uses GPS technology to safeguard the sat-nav by locking to a secure location of your choice. Just return to the location to unlock.

Enhanced navigation
Redefine your sightseeing with photo navigation and get there in a snap! To plan trips to landmarks and attractions simply and easily before you set off, choose and save location-tagged photographs from Google Panoramio on nüvi 215T in a wish-list of places to visit. Then, at your leisure, select a photo destination for turn-by-turn directions straight to the scene.

Other built-in travel tools include a JPEG picture viewer, world travel clock with time zones, a currency and measurement converter, calculator and more.

Smart traffic avoidance
nüvi 215T comes with Garmin’s smart traffic avoidance to help you stay aware of jams, accidents and roadworks on your route, with dependable delay information. Garmin’s distinctive, streaming traffic service uses live traffic data from cameras located every two miles along every major route to help you avoid the tailbacks.
Traffic information is always a toggle away. Just flick between your main navigation screen and congestion information while Garmin’s expert navigation works with the traffic alerts to report on the tailbacks while suggesting a better route around the delay.

Customise
Personalise your nuvi 215T with your choice of background photograph and select a new vehicle icon from the Garmin Garage. With a wide range of wheels including off-road vehicles, motorbikes and classic cars, you can tailor your Garmin to suit your style.
Enhance your travel experience with a range of plug-in microSD cards such as the Garmin Travel and Language Guides and bring your journeys to life with trusted guides from content partners like RoadTour and The Good Pub Guide 2008.
