Walking Mode lets you find your way around major cities on foot, helping you to discover new places inaccessible by car. With a choice of POIs for pedestrians and tourists alike, you can take navigation as step further with the Navman Spirit 500.
	Pre-loaded safety camera data Reach your destination safely and stay one step ahead with advance notice of upcoming speed camera locations and safety blackspots. If you’re speeding or approaching a camera, a visual and verbal warning gives you time to safely slow down. The Navman Spirit 500 can also flag up the speed limit of the road you’re on, encouraging safer driving.
	Lane Guidance Make sure you are always in the correct lane with the Navman Spirit 500's lane guidance feature. The Spirit software also features realistic 3D Junction Views that match major road signs, giving you more time to understand what’s ahead as you approach an exit or intersection.
	Discover the unexpected When you reach your destination, you can instantly transform your navigation experience by touching the 'Explore' button on the Spirit menu to activate Explore Mode. A virtual circle highlights your current location, along with all of the Points of Interest (POIs) in the surrounding area, so you can discover all of the best attractions. With directions to local restaurants, pubs and more at the touch of a button, you can explore your surroundings and make the most of your trip. Alternatively, you can browse the maps of any location before you set off so you can plan your POI visits in advance. Once you have a route planned, your POIs and other useful places of interest are highlighted along the way.
	NavPix - navigate to photos The Navman Spirit 500 includes the NaxPix photo album, so you can browse and navigate to a huge variety of pictures such as tourist sites, hideaway beaches, hotels and restaurants. You can also connect to the NavPix and Flickr websites and choose from over a million free geo-tagged photos to upload to your device. To navigate to pictures, simply touch the picture and your Navman will guide you to the destination.
	Easy to follow maps with TruMaps Inspired by paper maps, TruMaps provides simplified graphics and colour for a clutter-free look that’s easier to understand. The natural white background allows your route to stand out, so you can see your way at a glance. At dusk, the screen automatically switches to night mode and brightness is reduced for safer driving.
