The TomTom EasyPort(TM) mount has a unique, flexible design, allowing the user to affix their TomTom device securely to the desired position on the windshield, using the mechanical locking system. Users of the new TomTom ONE V5- 5th Edition will benefit from TomTom's unique Map Share technology, with millions of corrections and improvements uploaded and shared every month by the TomTom online user community. These can include changes in street names, road speed limits, turn restrictions, traffic directions and road blocks, as well as corrections to Points of Interest, such as phone numbers changes. Map Share enables drivers to receive the corrections from other users or improve their own maps instantly on their device. TomTom has the world's largest satellite navigation community with more than 20 million users, and Map Share means TomTom drivers can always have the most up-to-date maps and inside local knowledge at their fingertips.

Traffic-ready

The new TomTom ONE V5 - 5th Edition devices can offer the latest and most up- to-date traffic information with an optional RDS-TMC traffic receiver, available for purchase as an accessory.

Latest map guarantee

TomTom portable navigation devices are installed with the latest maps during production, however, customers can be assured that if a new map is released during the first 30 days of using their new device, they are entitled to a free download of the latest map, via TomTom HOME.

The new TomTom IQ Routes™ technology is based on actual average speeds on roads, rather than the sign-posted speed limits. This intelligent routing technology is based on anonymous historical speed profiles of over 10 billion kilometres of driven roads, gathered over the years by millions of TomTom users. It takes into account all the factors that may influence the time it takes drivers to get to their destination, including traffic lights, roundabouts, steep slopes and speed bumps. 

The TomTom IQ Routes™ speed profile database continues to grow at the rate of over half a billion measurements per day, so the time and spatial accuracy of TomTom IQ Routes™ technology will continually increase. Drivers can be confident that they will always be given the smartest route incorporating detailed local knowledge. This allows for more efficient daily route planning, in particular when driving through urban and mountainous areas.
